Linhs Salon is an example of where a designer can squeeze the most out of a company’s small budget. Linh and her husband Chris couldn’t afford a full interior makeover; but their dated slat wall and cold unwelcoming interior needed something to turn it around. They also needed a solution to turn an upstairs storage and dumping ground into a useable space which squeezed in two treatment areas.

Downstairs, we covered over the slat wall with a simple forest wall photo mural. We also encouraged Linh to cover the salon in an abundance of plants. These simple changes made the salon suddenly warm and inviting.

Upstairs had the biggest change – we created two treatment areas using ceiling mounted curtain tracks with soft, double thickness, full room height curtains and also used more wall photo murals for a false wall. The new, smaller, storage area was organised with some racks.
